A Sunset Session in Mammoth Lakes, California
It’s no secret that the Eastern Sierra is one of my favorite places. How could it not be? The area is so vast and unique—filled with beautiful mountain views, epic waterfalls, and primitive hot springs that decorate the landscape. It’s an ideal location to explore, so of course it’s a fantastic place to have a sunset session with you and yours.
If the description of the awesome landscape in the Sierra doesn’t convince you, maybe this will—the Eastern Sierra has seasons! It’s a stereotype that California lacks seasons. But so many places like Lake Tahoe, Mount Shasta, and more get all four!
The Eastern Sierra itself gets a wild spring with plenty of storms (depending on the year), a rich green summer with late-season blooms, a fall season full of yellow and orange leaves, and a winter season perfect for hot springs and snowboarding.
